FAQ

Where are you based?

I’m based in Perth, Western Australia. I returned home to WA in 2020, after living in the UK since 2016.

Will you travel/do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes, absolutely! If you like my work, you should definitely get in touch with me wherever your wedding is in the world, as I love to travel and chances are I’ll be keen to make the trip. I’m thrilled to have photographed weddings in Scotland, all over England, Malta, France, throughout Western Australia and Victoria (so far!)

What is your style of wedding photography?

I shoot in an artistic documentary style and am a non-traditional wedding photographer. I have a relaxed approach, I’m pretty quiet when I’m shooting, I try to fade into the background. I like to watch things unfold and photograph them as they happen, capturing all the emotion and stories with a creative eye. I will guide you during portraits to get the best out of the light and environment. You can read a bit more about my style (and me) over here.

Do you do albums?

Yes, I can show you album samples in person, and you have a look at some info & images  here.

Do you do family photos at weddings?

Yes, I absolutely do family + group photos, they are just not featured on my blogs (keep in mind the blog is usually about 100 images and you get about 500.)

What do we receive afterwards?

You’ll receive around 500 individually edited photos in an online gallery, downloadable in high-res and low res versions. You’ll have all the finished pictures to post, print and send to your heart’s content. You can also get a beautiful fine art photo book (which I highly recommend – photos in print are the best.)

Do you do any non-wedding photography?

Yes! I do family and general portrait sessions, you can find info here.

How do we book you?

Get in touch with me and I will send you my pricing + info guide. We can have a chat over a coffee or on the phone/skype. It’s always a good idea to make sure we’re a good fit for each other, and I feel it makes the whole process much more comfortable when your photographer is a familiar face to you. To lock things in, I have an agreement for you to sign and take a retainer to secure your date.
